The attack occurred in Al-Kish Square as a rally in support of the LNA and against the Government of National Accord (GNA) was taking place. "The shells were fired from the Soug al-Hout sector" in the north of the city, an area controlled by anti-Haftar armed groups. The attack is being blamed on the Islamic State, though this has not been confirmed. |
