Clashes between two villages in the centre of the Democratic Republic of Congo sparked by a dispute over land boundaries has left over 500 homes destroyed and several people injured. Residents of the village of Kalambo burned down the village of Munyenge in the Kabinda region, 150 kilometres (90 miles) from Mbuji-Mayi. The victims of the attack then responded with an arson attack of their own. |
