A co-pilot for United, a government-owned aviation company affiliated with the interim government, the House of Representatives (HoR), was abducted by unknown assailants on 27 November 2014. He was forcibly taken from his own car as he was parking it outside of his house in al-Hani area of Tripoli. His fate and exact whereabouts have remained unknown.
