The attacks were targeted at worshippers during the evening prayer around 7:30pm local time. Youths numbering over 200 from Alor-Uno in Nsukka Local Government invaded the neighbouring Amaogbo community allegedly destroying property worth millions of naira. It was learnt that the youths, who chanted war songs, carried with them other dangerous weapons descended on any property in sight as they marched round the community.
