AS forces remained in very close proximity to the town on 19/12 to retrieve a damaged technical that had been abandoned just out of Dhusamareb after the offensive.

These additional troops were deployed in Cabud Waaq to intervene in case of military confrontation between forces loyal to the ASWJ and Mr. Abdi Sacad.
