Al Shabaab fighters spent the whole night in the village before AMISOM (Uganda) and Somali forces came back the following morning (02/02). The AMISOM withdrawal was an uncoordinated move, Ugandan forces leaving their positions without ensuring that they would be immediately replaced by Ethiopian forces.
