An Egyptian group called "Black Block" on 25 January attacked a police station in the north coastal city of Alexandria. A journalist said the group, whose members wore black uniform and were all masked, attacked Al-Manshiyah police station and threw Molotov Cocktails at the police forces there. He said the police forces responded by opening fire in the air. They also tried to attack the municipal council building in the city, but the security forces managed to prevent them and cordoned off the building. |
