Six people were killed and three others injured Wednesday in a fire exchange between security forces and outlaws in Egypt's Gharbiya governorate, around 80 km north of the capital Cairo, official news agency MENA reported. The confrontation took place when gunmen opened fire on security forces once they saw their police vehicle, killing two of the gunmen and another four people who happened to be at the area. The police seized a stolen car and a number of machine-guns in the operation. |
