Two hundred Thika boda operators and quarry workers and owners from Munyu in Thika East yesterday protested over poor roads. They said the Munyu-Makongeni road is impassable leading to loses. The protestors walked from Makongeni estate to the Kiambu county headquarters in Thika and demanded to be addressed by Governor William Kabogo or Deputy Governor Gerald Githinji. They were however stopped from entering the offices by the county government security guards and told to send representatives. |
