At least three people were killed and 60 wounded when bombs exploded in two buses on a busy highway in the Kenyan capital Nairobi. Both explosions took place around 5.45pm. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks -- although Kenyan authorities are currently engaged in a major security crackdown on suspected supporters of neighbouring Somalia's Al-Qaeda-linked Shebab rebels. This comes a day after a similar attack in Mombasa. Several suspected were arrested in connection with the blasts within the week. |
