Residents of the town of Derna [easternLibya] and members of civil society groups continue to demonstrate in the streets and squares of the town calling on the General National Congress (GNC) and the government to hasten the activation of the army and the police. Protesters also demonstrated outside the clothes factory in the eastern coast calling for the removal of Al-Nur brigade, which had set its base in the factory, and the closure of the city's radio which is broadcasting from the brigade's headquarters. |
