The Abu Salem Martyrs Brigade (acting under the Shura Council of Mujahideen in Derna) clashed with local Islamic State affiliates after one of their senior leaders was killed by masked gunmen, which set offclashesbetween the rival groups that left 11 people dead, including a top commander of the Abu Salem Brigade.
