It is believed the Fulani invaded the Makurdi suburbs as revenge after suspected Tiv killed their cattle. Five soldier casualties, twenty civilian. Conflicting reports claim 20 civilian deaths. Following the attacks many ethnic Fulani residents fled the area under threat of reprisal. |
