A bloody clash is reported between suspected hoodlums said to be loyal to the chairman of the Community Development Association, CDA, Charles Egbe, and the traditional ruler of the community, Chief Nosakhare Ogieriakhi, over an alleged refusal of Egbe to honour an invitation where he is expected to give account of his stewardship to the people of the community. The communal clash, which claimed the lives of three persons, also forced the traditional ruler and his subjects to abandon the community. |
