Students of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (ACOED), Ijanikin, blocked the Mile 2-Badagry expressway to protest the death of three primary school pupils, who were crushed to death by a commercial bus driver. The students who were armed with clubs, cutlasses and bottles also set three commercial buses ablaze while several vehicles windscreens were shattered. The protest caused a gridlock along the Iyana Isashi-Agbara axis on the Mile 2- Badagry road. Though no life was lost as a result of the protest, several people were injured. |
