Boko Haram launches a "massive" attack on Konduga, 35km from Maiduguri, causing a three-hour battle with military forces. Reports indicate Boko Haram suffered heavy causalities before fleeing. Military forces captured several pieces of heavy equipment and weapons from the attackers. Xinhua places the death number of Boko Haram at 100, others place it as high as 120.
