SSC militias retaliated against the Ethiopian forces presence in Boohodle town. This came after the Ethiopian forces grounded most of the trucks moving in and out of the town bringing to a standstill business and traffic in the town. There were casualties on both sides. There is also an exodus of people from both Widh Widh and Boohodle towns as residents are wary of the tension. As a response to demonstrations in Laas Anood, the Somaliland forces and tanks moved into the town. There was a confrontation resulting in a unknown number of casualties. |
