Clash between Darood/Laylakase militia and Galmudug Police was reported from Galkacyo. One person was reported dead and another one injured. The clash occurred following a burial of one person that died in the violence in North Galkacyo earlier that day. The burial took place in a vicinity of a South Galkacyo checkpoint to which the Galmudug Police Officers responded by shooting. Following the clash negotiations on blood compensations started between the Hawiye/Habr Gedir/Saad and Darood/Laylakase clans. |
