Four employees of the Red Sea Company were attacked by unknown gunmen when they were getting out from a public bus. 1 man died and 3 others were injured. 1 of the injured men belongs to the Dhulbahante clan while the one killed and the rest of the injured belong to Darod/Ali Saleban. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the incident may be a case of revenge killing between Ali Saleban and Ali Jibrail sub-clans of Majerteen. If confirmed a cycle of revenge killings between the sub-clans would likely cause a temporary deterioration of the security situation in the town. |
