Sa'ad and Saleban militias loyal to the Galmudug and Himan & Heeb administrations clashed in Dhagtuur village. Casualties were reported to be high with more than ten combatants killed and at least 40 others injured. The fighting is believed to have started after the Sa'ad militias attacked Dhegtuur and took control of the village. The Saleban militias retaliated and retook the location. Dhegtuur is believed to be currently under the control of the Saleban militias. The situation in the area remains tense and further rounds of clashes cannot be ruled out. |
