Four agents of the Puntland Intelligence Agency (PIA), two belonging to the Dhulbahante clan, one to Partire (minor clan of Darood - Ethiopia) and one to Dafacle (nor clan of Darood) took a man belonging to the Amanle sub-clan from his residence in Suweyto neighborhood at around midnight and later shot him at the nearest beach, where the body was subsequently recovered by the locals. The victim was a businessman operating in the seaport. The perpetrators were later arrested and are currently being interrogated. The motive of the killing is currently unknown. |
