A fierce armed clash erupted between ASWJ and AS militias in Dhusamareeb after the AS launched an attack on the town. The attack took place after a significant number of ASWJ forces usually dedicated to the defence of the town moved to Guri-Ceel for a meeting with Ethiopian officers. The AS militias managed to enter the town and reached the central police station but the ASWJ forces quickly regrouped and regained full control of the town. The number of casualties could not be confirmed. |
