A dead body of a male marked with shot wounds was found in Raf Iyo Raho area near Yasmin Plaza Hotel. The victim was working for a local company dominated by the Darood/Majerten/Ali Saleban sub-clan. The reason for the killing is currently unknown. Raf Iyo Raho neighbourhood is populated in particular by Ugaar Salebans and Ali Salebans, two sub-clans that are engaged in very violent clashes in Rako Raho area in Qardho District since mid-November. A number of families had already relocated out of this neighbourhood to avoid potential clan retaliations in Bosasso. |
