Unknown assailants seized a UN-rented truck and its contentin Galinsoor on 10/03. The truck wascarrying humanitarian aid while on its way from Galkacyo to Galgaduud Region. The motive of the attackers was reportedly to protest against the lack of food assistance in the area and the increased traffic of humanitarian aid destined to Galgaduud through Galinsoor. The District Commissioner of Galinsoor (Galmudug) and local elders have been attempting to recover the shipment, with no success. |
