Six mortar rounds were reportedly fired in the direction of Villa Somalia in the night of 14-15/05. Three of the rounds landed inside the compound. The three others missed their target and landed close to the former 15th-May Secondary School and Aga-Dhiig area in Wardhiigley/Warta Nabadda District. One civilian was killed and three others injured. It was reported that the mortars had been fired by AS fighters who got engaged in a brief clash with TFG police on patrol in Xamar-Jadid neighbourhood, forcing them to interrupt their attack and flee. |
