| Description | Pro-TFG/AMISOM (KDF) forces clashed with AS militias in Ceel-Cadde village 50km SW of Garbaharey on 23/08. The two sides reportedly engaged in a heavy fighting in which artillery guns were used. Another AS unit reportedly destroyed a KDF armoured vehicle after ambushing a KDF convoy rushing to support their colleagues in the village. One civilian was killed and a number of houses were destroyed. Unconfirmed report indicates that 30 combatants were killed during the fighting. |
