Four gunmen from Osman Mohamud/Bah Yacqub sub-clan carjacked a Toyota pick-up belonging to Qardho police station in Xorgoble neighbourhood (Qardho) in the night of 22/08. The gunmen fired several shot at the car during the incident and injured the commander of Qardho police station, who is a member of Osman Mohamud. The gunmen then drove the vehicle towards Balidhidin Village(87km SE of Qandala). Reports on 27/08 indicate that the gunmen sold the vehicle to a prominent pirate hailing from Majeerten/Ali Saleeban in Balidhidin Village (87km SE of Qandala). |
