Unidentified attackers threw a hand grenade at the residence of the chairman of Bay regional court in Horseed neighbourhood (Baidoa) in the evening of 24/08. One the chairman's guard was injured in the blast. The guards responded by firing at the suspected directions. A civilian bystander was injured in the shooting. SNG forces conducted a security operation and arrested a man found with a hand grenade in the area. The security forces also seized several explosives during the operations in Berdale, Isha and ADC neighbourhoods following a tip off from the members of public. |
