| Description | Unidentified armed men opened fire at a group of herbal medicine hawkers comprising of both Somalis and Kenyan nationals in Garboolow Village (20kms NW of Luuq) in the night of 24/08.The reason behind the attack is currently unknown. Two people were injured, among them the chief of the village. Three of the traders (two Somali women and a man) escaped unhurt and their whereabouts are unknown. The perpetrators also took a vehicle belonging to the traders. |
