Gunmen from Habar Jeclo/Soolamadaw sub-clan stole 24 camels belonging to Dhulbahante/Hayaag sub-clan from the vicinity of Sool-Joogto Village (23km N of Buhoodle) in the evening of 26/08. The theft was in revenge of camels stolen by Dhulbahante gunmen from Habar Jeclo/Soolamadaw during the clashes between the Somaliland forces and the SSC/ Khatumo militia last year. Latest reports indicate that local elders and police in Qorilugud are searching for the 24 camels in order to return them to their owners. |
