Around 150 passengers holding flight tickets from Ethiopian Airlines demonstrated peacefully in front of the Ministry of Civil Aviation in Hargeisa in the morning of 11/09. The demonstrators were complaining about the cancellation of Ethiopian Airlines flights to Hargeisa and were requesting that the minister negotiates with the company to have their tickets changed with other airlines. Some demonstrators moved to the Ethiopian Airlines office in the afternoon and were dispersed by elements of the Somaliland police. |
