A watchman of a local school shot and killed a young man in the vicinity of Al-Furqan school in Laas Caanood in the evening of 17/09. Reports indicate that the victim and his girlfriend were sitting outside the school and were shot at after they refused to obey he watchman who had ordered them to leave the area. The shooter reportedly hail from the Dhulbahante/Baharsame sub-clan and the victim from the Dhulbahante/Jamac Siyaad sub-clan. The owner of the school was arrested after the shooter escaped from the scene. |
