Unidentified men armed with pistols shot and killed a man hailing from Darood/Lelkase sub-clan and injured two other people sitting in a tea shop in Garsoor neighbourhood (Galkacyo North) in the evening of21/09. Reports indicate that the perpetrators had been targeting a prominent pharmacist who is the brother of the victim and was also in the tea shop. Reports say that the pharmacist had received several death threat calls from unidentified callers. The targeted man escaped unharmed. The motive of the attack is unknown. The perpetrators escaped. |
