The fighting broke out after Mohamed Muse militias attacked Shiidle militiamen for confiscating their cattle after claiming the cows had eaten their farm crops. A militia man from Shiidle clan was killed in the clash while three others were injured. Middle Shabelle regional administration stepped in to mediate between the two sub-clans. |
