Gunmen from Dhulbahante-Hayaag two men from Habar Jeclo-Ahmed Farah in the vicinity of Ceegaag Village (47km N of Buuhoodle) in the night of 03/12. The gunmen reportedly called the two-a driver and an assistant driver-purporting to be businessmen who wanted to hire their lorry to transport goods. The gunmen reportedly shot and injured the assistant driver during the incident. They also deflated the tires of the lorry before taking their hostage towards Buuhoodle town. The motive of the abduction is currently unknown but unconfirmed reports indicate that it was related to inter-clan revenge. |
