A RCIED apparently planted in a restaurant frequented by SNG forces exploded in Sinai neighbourhood (Waajid) in the afternoon of 10/05. Reports indicate that two civilians - a man and a woman - were killed while three others were injured. Somali forces conducted a security operation after the blast and discovered four explosive devices planted in the town. The forces disabled the devices safely after switching off the telecommunications network. Despite the military frequency, it is not entirely clear they were the target. |
