Suspected al Shabaab fighters reportedly captured and arrested a civilian man travelling to Waajid District in the vicinity of Goobato village (36km N of Rabdhure) in the afternoon of 20/06. The victim was allegedly accused of attending a military training in Ethiopia long time ago. However a retaliatory operation carried out by the brothers of the detained victim and SNG forces ended with the arrest of eight people who are related to the suspected al Shabaab abductors. The eight people are detained now in Luuq (Gedo). |
