| Description | Two militia groups from Habar-Gedir and Biimaal clashed in K50 settlement (21km SW of Afgooye) in the morning of 22/06. Reports indicate that the Biimaal militias led by the K50 chairman initiated the fresh attack. The two sides engaged fighting for about an hour after which the attackers withdrew. Tensions remained high in the area as both sides reportedly mobilizing for reinforcement from their respective clansmen. Casualties could not be established. |
