A vehicle loaded with explosives detonated in front of Aroma Restaurant at Makah Al-Mukaram Road (Hawl-Wadaag District) in the evening of 12/10. The vehicle was at the parking yard when the incident happened. Reports indicate that Hawl-Wadaag District Commissioner and other government officials were present in the hotel at the time of the incident but none of them were hurt. The restaurant was hosting an event to mark 60th anniversary when Somalia flag was found. Thirteen (13) people were killed while 18 others were injured. |
