Al Shabaab fighters ambushed a car transporting mira in Burjeedka (8kms SE of Baidoa), in the afternoon of 29/10. The al Shabaab fighters opened fire on the car, killing a young boy and slightly wounding a woman, who was the owner of the mira. The woman and the driver managed to get off the car and escaped towards Baidoa town, where they later got assistance from a car that transported her to Baidoa hospital for treatment. Al Shabaab fighters seized the car with the mira and burnt it to ashes. |
