| Description | Al Shabaab fighters ambushed a tri-motor cycle transporting khat in Huburka Village (18kms SE of Baidoa) in the afternoon of 31/10. The driver was injured in the shooting but managed to escape to AMISOM base in Goof Gaduud Shabeelow Village, 7km away. The al Shabaab fighters burned the tri-motor cycle and its cargo. The tri-cycle had left Baidoa and was heading to Ali Mumin and Xagarka villages in Baidoa District when the incident happened. |
