Two gunmen hailing from Habar Yonis/Sacad yonis sub-clan opened fire at two men from Habar Jeclo/Baho sub-clan in Dogoble Village (128km S of Ceerigaabo) on 28/11. The motive behind the incident is reportedly related to water dispute after perpetrators refused the watering of camel owned by victims at a local borehole. The victims escaped unhurt after the shooters missed their targets. Somaliland police and local elders in Dogoble later arrested the perpetrators and took them to Ceel-Afweyn police station. |
