| Description | Al Shabaab fighters carried out a second hit-and -run attack in Qansax Dheere in the morning of 11/02. The Al Shabaab fighters fired two RGP rounds and small arm fire towards the airstrip (non-operational) and fled before SNG forces were able to reach the area. No casualties were reported - it is not clear if the airstrip was populated. Further reports show that al Shabaab had carried out similar attack on the previous day around midday and no casualties were reported. |
