After the killing of two women by al Shabaab fighters in Bana village, 15 KM SE of Hudur, SNGF conducted a security operation in Orogley, 23 KM SW of Hudur including the outlying villages on 08/05. One woman, hailing from Jeron sub-clan and married to an al Shabaab fighter was killed by SNGF in revenge in Orogley for the killing of two women by al Shabaab in Bana village. It is not the first time that SNGF in Bakool region conduct revenge killings after al Shabaab fighters were killing civilians in the region. |
