The Somaliland authorities in Lowyacado have destroyed several illegal constructions that were used for goods smuggling. The area residents demonstrated against the destructions and refused to clear the area. The police continued the demolition and arrested several people who were transferred to Zeylac central prison. The police arrested an officer working for Zaylac local government accusing him of involvement on organizing demonstrations against the demolition. This was the third one since last month. |
