Resident community including women, children, young people, and elderly carried out a peaceful demonstration voicing concerns about insecurity and instability in the town after violent incidents against civilian occurred previously in the town. Demonstrators used slogans of security, stability demands from the local authorities. Gedo region governor Maxamed Cabdi Kaliil and Iiman CadbowKaarshe Garbaharey district commissioner addressed the demonstrators on their demand for security, peace and stability. |
