| Description | Well-armed al Shabaab fighters launched an attack against SNA bases in Rage-Ceelle town (47km NE of Warsheikh) in the morning of 13/07. After a heavy exchange of gunfire which lasted for more than twenty minutes the al Shabaab militants managed to take-over the town. SNA forces retreated to AMISOM base in the outskirt of the town. Casualties reported are so far 8 SNGF and 4 civilians, al Shabaab side is unknown. Heavier casualties reported from other sources. |
