Scuffles broke out between two groups of youths armed with sticks and stones from Habar Jeclo/Iidle Biciide and Habar Yonis/ Sacad yonis Sub-clans in Ceel-Afwayn on 22/09. The scuffle started after the secretary to the district administration (Habar Yonis/Sacad Yonis) attacked and injured a mentally ill from Habar Jeclo/Iidle Biciide under unclear circumstances. Youths related to the victim attacked a group of youths from the perpetrator's sub-clan leading to the clash between the two sides. A number of youths were injured in the scuffle. Police arrested three youths. |
