| Description | ENDF forces on two helicopters clashed with al Shabaab fighters who were planning to execute two men on suspicion of spying in Habar Dooy Village (27km SW of Baidoa) in the morning of 07/10. Local villagers gathered to witness the execution. Al Shabaab fighters clashed with ENDF who were dropped by the helicopters after which the al Shabaab fighters withdrew. Reports indicate that 20 al Shabaab fighters were captured in the operation and taken to Baidoa. No reported causalities. |
