Somaliland police in Allay Baday village (37km SW of Gabiley) arrested at least 15 teenagers on 06/03 after they staged a demonstration against a visiting minister of Agriculture. The protestors accused the government of been corrupt and failed to meet the promises they made during last election adding that the authorities also neglecting their village. Reports indicate that the demonstrators were supporters of WADANI party (opposition) while the police accused them of causing disturbance. |
